About Me

Patricia Fisher

Me In a Nutshell
.
I’m a wife (to The Beekeeper), mother of five (three beautiful daughters
and two handsome sons), Nana of four little blessings, and first and
foremost a lover of Jesus. The Beekeeper and I live in a not so little brown house in a quaint little
village in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York with a
sweet-tempered and beautiful Golden Retriever named Greta, and two spoiled
horses.
.
My Inspiration Room is a spot in the back of our garage, my own little corner of my own little world.  This is where I create.  You may find me making jewelry, sewing a new bag, playing with paint, or turning wet clay into a vessel of purpose.  This is also where we (the Beekeeper and I) collect all sorts of treasures that we’ve found along our journey (pickers of sorts).
Out the door, past the potting bench and across the stone path
is where you’ll find our creations in our little store, Fishers Beehive Shoppe.
This is where we sell the things we make along with some of the treasures we’re ready to part with.
If you haven’t found me in the brown house (most likely making soup), at the barn with my four-legged babies, in the Inspiration Room creating something, or across the stone path in the shop, then I’m probably in the garden, My Potager, playing in the dirt or picking baskets of blueberries for jam (which, by the way, we also sell in the shop along with pickles, and of course, honey from our bees).
.
Speaking of the bees, my husband, their “keeper”, wears many hats.  You’ll hear him referred to as:
The Woodworker…. he has a great woodshop,
The Welder…. his newest interest,
The Chef or Pit Master…on any given day, or

Getting ready for the wedding

Say cheese!

MacGyver… the title he’s earned at his day job.
Nevertheless, these are one and the same-
The Beekeeper…to whom I’m the “Queen Bee”.

                            Welcome!
